Yup
Honestly, this is probably the most accurate sign on this list. You can say that it’s just a stereotype all you like, but we all know that Texans all wear cowboy hats, and they wear them with pride! That’s one thing you can take from them. You can take the person out of Texas, but you can’t take Texas out of the person – so know that if you see someone wearing a cowboy hat where it’s completely inappropriate, he’s probably from Texas.

This isn’t really a stereotype, but more of a fact, and it’s not to say anything bad about Texans (just that they have a weird sense of fashion); but the cowboy hat comes with the attached gestures of hospitality, such as the tipping of the hat, opening doors and calling people “ma’am” and “sir.” So if cowboy hats are the price we must pay for this Southern hospitality, we’d sign this kind of deal any day.
