Protect Your Noggin
This one is for all the DIYers out there. Just because you don’t have to follow any safety protocols imposed upon you by a nonexistent contracting company doesn’t mean you can totally disregard safety. Whenever you want to scale a ladder or work on the roof of your house, for the love of everything holy in this world, put on a helmet!
It doesn’t even have to be a yellow safety helmet, either. Just take whatever bike helmet or skateboard helmet you have in your garage and use that to protect your noggin. It’s always better to be safe and prepared than to be rushed into the ER for major head trauma.
