Just Your Average Girl
Princess Diana was known to have a love for the beach and spending time by the sea. As a child, she grew up near the ocean in Sandringham, Norfolk, and spent much of her time playing on the nearby beaches. This love for the beach stayed with her throughout her life, and she often visited seaside destinations on vacations and official visits.
One of Princess Diana’s favorite beach destinations was the Caribbean island of Necker, owned by her friend, Sir Richard Branson. She visited the island several times and was known to enjoy swimming, sunbathing, and playing beach volleyball. In fact, she was photographed playing beach volleyball with Branson and his team during one of her visits.
