Take some time from the negativity on the Internet and check out our favorite tweets singing America’s praises!
#1: Doing a Good Job Deserves Praise
In America, solid dad jokes are a hot commodity. One thing dads are known for saying is, “Good job, buddy!” Even the most deadbeat dads can say it, and they still sound like the father of the year. So, we can’t say we’re surprised about Hannah’s tweet giving her commentary on “good job, buddy.” It’s also often portrayed in American TV shows and films.
Well, Hannah finds it hilarious, hence the emoji. We can see where she’s coming from on this one. Not only does the phrase “good job, buddy” have a dad’s sense of humor, but it’s endearing and super encouraging! What’s funnier is Americans tend to use it to praise their children for the smallest of things. We wish our bosses would give us a “good job, buddy” now and then.
