Lunch Rush Hour
To our vegan and vegetarian friends out there, remember this person’s wise words the next time you dine out at a busy, non-exclusively-vegan restaurant. When an influx of diners come in, the kitchen staff become so frazzled that they don’t have time to pay attention to which utensils go into which pots or pans.
What might end up happening is they’ll contaminate your vegan dish with the juices, albeit tiny quantities, of meat. This probably applies to restaurants that also serve kosher and halal dishes, too. Do the smart thing and find a restaurant that specifically caters to your specific dietary needs.
