The generational war is nothing new, but Millennials and Gen Z versus the Baby Boomers has been a battle for the ages. The younger generations feel like they were given the crumbs of the pie that the Baby Boomers have had to eat. The Baby Boomers feel like the younger generations are entitled and responsible for their failures. Who’s right and who’s wrong? We’re here to take a look at posts from the younger crowd about what they call “boomer logic.” I’ll give my thoughts, and you’re free to voice yours below.
#1: I Respectfully Disagree
Our first piece of boomer logic is the idea that disagreement is automatically disrespect. And yes, I agree with the person complaining. I respect your opinion, but I also respect my right to disagree with it.
Though, is this really a purely generational thing? These days, everyone on the Internet seems a little heated if someone disagrees with them. I think humans just like being right.
