Can We Not, Though?
I’m not a big fan of talking politics, especially not during Thanksgiving dinner. Thanksgiving is supposed to be a happy time, a time to spend with family and friends and think of all the things we are thankful for. One thing I’m definitely not thankful for is politics or politicians.

However, some people just like to rile things up and make the conversation “interesting,” which is why they insist on bringing up politics during the holiday dinner. And some people just genuinely like to talk about politics. Go figure! Either way, bringing up political matters during Thanksgiving dinner is sure to end in disaster.
