#18: Three’s A Crowd (1984-1985)

Airing in the mid-80s, Three’s a Crowd was basically Three’s Company: The Sequel, but less iconic. It picked up at the point after Jack Tripper finally settled down with his new girlfriend Vicky. The catch is they weren’t married, and her super uptight dad hated that, so of course, he was always hanging around making Jack’s life miserable. It tried to keep that same goofy energy as Three’s Company, but without the wild roommates and misunderstandings every five seconds, it just didn’t hit the same. Fans wanted more of the original chaos, not domestic drama with Jack trying to play house. It only lasted one season, and most people would rather forget it even existed.
