Engineering isn’t just about coming up with useful inventions for future generations. It’s also about coming up with solutions to problems that you never knew existed. For instance, did you know that there are some tree aficionados that have trouble keeping their palm trees standing upright?
This person came up with an inexpensive solution to this problem, and all it took was a garden rake and a hoe. Sure, there are probably better ways to do it, such as transplanting the palm tree to the soil, but this person is an engineer, not a tree doctor. That’s someone else’s problem to worry about.
