Motifs on umbrellas that appear when wet
If you’re wondering why Japan is obsessed with umbrellas, it’s because the typhoon season lasts for six months (between May and October). That’s a lot of rainwater to worry about. But just the country experiences 60 inches of rain every year doesn’t mean the locals can’t have a bit of fun.

By fun, we mean getting adorable umbrellas with motifs that show up when wet. Admittedly, there’s no additional purpose of this umbrella other than its wow factor, but wow. Maybe they should also make ponchos that turn into a brighter color when wet. They probably have that already, too, but we just haven’t seen one yet.
