Silver Oval Object

At first glance, you may think this looks like a decor item or a paperweight but that’s not it. The OP apparently found this hollow, silver, oval object in their kitchen drawer and had no memory of buying it. Thankfully, the internet didn’t disappoint and had a legit answer for what this is. 

Turns out it’s a stainless steel soap that you can rub on your hands after chopping onions or garlic or handling fish and it will get rid of the smell. Who knew something like this even existed? It does sound pretty useful though for when plain soap will simply not suffice.
