Raven Symone then
We’re all familiar with Raven Symone from her feature series That’s So Raven, but she started her way in the entertainment industry at a much younger age. Her first audition was at the age of three, for the Bill Cosby film Ghost Dad. While she didn’t get the part on the movie, Bill Cosby was impressed with Raven, and offered her a role on The Cosby Show.
She remained on The Cosby Show from 1989-1992. The following year, at the age of seven, Raven began her singing career when she signed with MCA Records and she received vocal lessons from Missy Elliot. She released her first album, Here’s to New Dreams, later that year. Between 1994-1997, she had a lead role in the sitcom Hangin’ with Mr. Cooper.
