Toy Story Goes International
This may come as a shock, but America is not the center of the world and it is not the only country interested in fantastic animated films. (Gasp!) That’s right, animated classics are regularly translated into other languages so kids across the world can enjoy them. But the translation sometimes has to be cultural as well, as we see with this example of Toy Story.
Creators had to replace the American flag in favor of a large globe- thus making the film more inclusive and accessible to global audiences. That or Buzz LightYear just upgraded his plans to world domination.
