The confusion regarding measurement systems goes beyond distances and weights; the US is also one of the few countries that still cling proudly to Fahrenheit instead of making the move to Celsius. And yes, I get it, Celsius has a lot of great advantages.

But consider this: if we suddenly switched to Fahrenheit, the 1990s boy band 98 Degrees would suddenly find that their name doesn’t make a lot of sense anymore. And personally, I was a huge fan of 98 Degrees twenty-five years ago. So I’m happy to make that sacrifice for their sake.
