The World Egg Throwing Championship

As it turns out, egg throwing is a real, serious and organized sport. There’s even a World Egg Throwing Federation in charge of monitoring the sport and hosting events, contests, and games. It’s no joke, folks. The different egg games include Russian egg roulette, throw and catch, and target throwing, among others.

The federation is against the use of eggs as part of vandalism acts, and encourages the use of eggs only for sport and games (and consumption, I guess). The World Egg Throwing Championship is held annually in England and started in 2006. The different egg-throwing related games have different categories, requirements, and levels.
