With the rise of the Internet, you would think that people have become nicer. After all, becoming exposed to cultures, opinions, and ideas that you wouldn’t usually get in your normal life can help to improve the way you act with other people…right? Sadly, studies have proven that’s far from the truth!

Studies from Statista in 2016 show that just under three-quarters of adult Americans believe that people today are ruder than they were two or three decades ago. Even so, I’m not sure who’s the meaner person here, the client or the attorney. After all, the attorney is meant to be defending him!
