We know it seems like he has been around forever, but Johnny Depp only began his acting career after friend and fellow actor, Nicholas Cage told him to pursue it over his music career. Depp’s first-ever audition was for A Nightmare on Elm Street, and without any acting experience got the job.
It is safe to say that his participation in that film jumpstarted his acting career… So much has happened since Depp was this little boy in this picture, that we almost can’t even recognize him as himself. We bet that when he looks at this picture he can’t believe how far he has come.
