Clint Eastwood
Many people would be unhappy if American actor Clint Eastwood had never served in the military. Clint is the ultimate men’s man—the epitome of gruff toughness and machismo. He served in the US Army during the Korean War after being drafted straight out of high school, but that probably didn’t come as a shock to you folks.
However, he didn’t see any action, and instead, he was assigned lifeguard duty, which isn’t exactly the duty you’d expect given his appearance. Most of his well-known war films are based on what he witnessed at the time. It’s just that he never actively participated in any of the fighting, though we won’t hold that against him.
