Lasagna, Garlic Bread, and Chips

Of course, we all love and know lasagna as the Italian pasta dish which includes stacked layers of flat pasta, ground meat, vegetables, meat ragu, garlic, oregano, basil, and a cheesy white sauce. The British love lasagna too except their version is slightly different. 

It’s not as refined as the Italian kind and is more like a stodgy pile of meat, cheese, and pasta but you know what, it does the job and is very popular. It shouldn’t come as a surprise that the Brits eat their lasagna with garlic bread and a side of – you guessed it – chips. As far as they’re concerned, more carbs is the way to go.
