Rabbit Out of a Hat: Anatomy of Illusion
To pull off this act, a magician will need a hat, a rabbit, a tablecloth, and a bag. The bag should be attached to the table near the magician, hidden by the tablecloth. With a high degree of skill and punctuality, the magician can then take the rabbit out of the bag and put it into the hat.
Magician Dai Vernon challenged Harry Houdini to solve one of his card tricks and Houdini was so confident he said he’d need only three tries. After seven tries, he was unable to solve it, earning Vernon the title of “The Man Who Fooled Houdini”.
