Ice From Water: Anatomy of Illusion
Magicians use a sponge to absorb water and convert it to ice. They add a sponge and ice to a cup of the same color to camouflage the trick. The sponge absorbs the water, leaving only ice in the cup.
Harry Houdini and David Copperfield have stars in the Hollywood Hall of Fame, honoring their contributions to modern magic. Houdini chose his name in tribute to Robert Houdini, the father of modern magic.
