Fans of The Vampire Diaries may recognise him from his role as Mason Lockwood on the show. Gaga, of course, was the one who did it. When they were shooting the music video for her song “You and I” in 2011, they became fast friends. In 2015, the romance blossomed into a marriage proposal, which was accepted the following year.
In July of that year, the “terrible romance” came to an end. “Personal issues” were cited as the reason for their separation. After that, there were no further developments.
