No kids at the dinner table
There’s one major rule that cannot be broken under any circumstances. That rule is that children are not allowed to dine with adults. The kids of the family are relegated to the large nursery in another room for their dinner while the adults sit at the grown-up table to talk and drink.
However, there’s no set age at which a child can move from the kiddy table to the grownup table. As long as the child can behave themselves and conduct proper table manners, they can land a seat with the adults. But they have to be at least 18 to drink.
