Why Queen Elizabeth II Doesn’t Take her Christmas Decorations Down Until February

One of Queen Elizabeth II’s favorite parts about celebrating Christmas is decorating the tree. Hey, we all have something in common with the queen! However, she takes it several steps further than us by setting up and decorating a Christmas tree in each and every one of her homes.

The trees usually arrive at her countless homes’ doorsteps in late November. Each year, the trees are decorated to absolute perfection based on the queen’s standards. This includes the mega-behemoth, 20-plus-foot-tall tree that stands erect at Windsor Castle. If that’s not a huge tree, we don’t know what is!
