Selena Gomez escaped the spotlight and enjoyed a getaway to Bulgaria. We have no doubt that Selena needed to escape attention with her ex-boyfriend Justin Beiber spending the summer engaging in some very public PDA. Always sweet as can be, Selena took time for volunteering on her getaway as well as posed with locals for pictures and selfies.

Ultimately, Gomez chose to keep her vacation private, only sharing a few photos on her Instagram page. We just hope Selena was able to recharge and dodge the limelight will she mends her surely broken heart. She is rumored to be preparing for a new album, which we expect from her sometime soon.
