Gene Kelly
A must-see if you want to witness Hollywood’s “whole package” is Gene Kelly. For his work on The Dick Van Dyke Show (which he co-created, produced, and acted in), he is best known. He was also a director, actor, writer, and comedian.
In1942, Kelly enlisted in the United States Army Air Forces, where he rose through the ranks to become a sergeant major without realising it. Despite the fact that The Dick Van Dyke Show was merely one of his many successes at the time, it has contributed to his status as a cultural icon.
