Leonardo DiCaprio – Blackadore Caye
As a proponent of environmental issues, Leonardo DiCaprio has gained notoriety. On his private island, eco-friendly resorts make perfect sense. He owned Blackadore Caye, a small island in the Caribbean just north of Belize, at the end of 2005. A “wellness-focused, luxurious eco-resort” was what he had in mind for it. Photovoltaic panels and time-of-day lighting were on his list of options.

In 2004, an A-list actor made his first encounter with Blackadore Caye. Jeff Gram, the owner of Cayo Espanto, was instrumental in helping Leonardo DiCaprio purchase his own island.
