That’s a Strange Way to Introduce Yourself
While Texas is known for being a warm, desert state, where it rarely snows, some places have “bipolar” weather, as they like to call it down there. One of those places is the city of Laredo, which is notorious for its unusual weather. More often than not, cities and states choose to put on the sign welcoming new-comers something that they are famous for and proud of.
At Laredo, Texas, they did the same thing, only the thing they’re proud of is a bit strange. We get the first part – they’re a friendly town where “everybody knows everybody,” that sounds lovable and welcoming, but why mention their bipolar weather? They’re certainly known for it, but not in a good way.
