Texas Pride
After everything we’ve seen, some Texas pride is needed here as well, because with all the stereotypes, Texans are proud of their state! And they should be – they have a lot to take pride in, what with their rich culture, their captivating personalities and their beautiful views. Another thing we learn from this photo, other than the famous Texas pride, is that the rivalry between Texas an Oklahoma is real, ya’ll.
For those of you who need to catch up on your history, this time-old rivalry started in football (as most rivalries do). It dates back to 1900, but like all good rivalries, it expanded to other aspects of life, and now it’s simply there, even if most people aren’t familiar with its origin.
