Speed Limit
Texans aren’t ashamed of their lifestyle and their attitude, and even they admit it – they don’t really care about the speed limit. This sign is another example of the fine self-humor of the south. You know the people who find the expiration date on dairy products to be only a suggestion? That’s how Texans see the speed limit – a suggestion rather than an obligation.
This sign demonstrates a healthy sense of self-humor, something that Texans are known for. Yes somehow they make it work for them; perhaps this sign should be considered more of a warning for visitors. But joking aside, I sure hope this isn’t a real road sign!
