Mogadishu, Somalia- Wednesday morning was tragic to three members of UN convoy in Mogadishu, as their lives were cut short by a suicide bomber.
A police officer said the attack happened near Mogadishu Airport. The suicide bomber rammed his car straight to convoy- killing three.
Ahmed Ali noted that about seven people were injured, although it is not certain if those injured were part of the UN convoy.
An eyewitness, a resident of the area, said the Army shot at pedestrians immediately after the attack.
Incessant suicide attack by Islamic Al shabab, is becoming very common in the region.
On Tuesday, 36 quarry workers were killed in Kenya, by Al shabab militants, that resulted in President Uhuru Kenyatta, sacking his security minister.
