A male lion injured an elderly man in Kenya’s capital, Nairobi, after straying from a nearby national park. on Friday. According to Paul Udoto, spokesman for the Kenya Wildlife Service said the lion was later captured and returned to the park, the man was rushed to hospital and he is now in a stable condition.
KWS, which manages the country’s safari reserves including the Nairobi National Park on the outskirts of the capital, said its units had caught the lion after images posted on social media showed it wandering along a main road near the park.
