Fishing at Niagara
If you’re a bit of a fisherman (or woman) and want to catch some beautiful trout or bass, then Niagara is the perfect place to do it. The river is home to dozens of different fish species, most of which are safe to fish and eat. You’ll need a permit before taking your rod down the riverbank, but it’s totally worth it!
If you’re wondering whether the fish can survive the 100-plus drop into the basic, they can. The mist and foam at the bottom provide cushioning that absorbs a majority of the drop. About 90% of the fish will make it to the basin and live to tell the tale.
