In a new European Parliament report state that terror group, ISIL are planning to use weapons of mass destruction against the West. According to the report the terrorist group has already smuggled chemical and biological weapons into Europeans countries undetected.
The report claims 'ISIL has recruited and continues to recruit hundreds of foreign fighters, including some with degrees in physics, chemistry and computer science, who experts believe have the ability to manufacture lethal weapons from raw substances.
They are urging European governments and EU institutions need to be on alert, and should consider publicly addressing the possibility of a terrorist attack using chemical, biological, radiological or even nuclear materials. The EU institutions have devoted considerable efforts to preventing a CBRN attack on European soil and preparing worst-case scenarios. However, some gaps remain, in particular with regard to information-sharing among Member States
Some people have started to blame the European leaderS for opening their borders for the Middle East migrants. while some are of the opinion that no state would for one day pass such a weapon to a militant group? None has done so yet, nor appears likely to in the short or mid-term.
