Gunman Opens Gunfire At A Bar In Dizengoff Street, Tel Aviv

Gunman today 1st of January 2016, opened gunfire at a bar in Dizengoff Street, Tel Aviv killing two people and seven others injured Israel police say.

Police spokesman Micky Rosenfeld told the BBC: “It’s not clear what the background of the incident is, if it’s a terrorist attack or if it’s criminal-related.”

However there is a serious manhunt currently going for the gunman in the city. The shooting appears to be a terrorist attack motivated by nationalism, Tel Aviv Mayor Ron Huldai told the media.

According to reports the bar that the gunman attack is known to catered for the gay, lesbian, and transgender community. Maybe that was why the gunman attacked the bar, some people speculate.
