40 bodies found so far as AirAsia prepares to take relatives to site

Two days ago, we reported that the Air Asia flight QZ8501 which lost contact with the radar shortly after take off have crashed. Now, the Indonesian authorities have confirmed the report with 40 bodies and the plane’s emergency exit do found so far.

Indonesia’s director general of civil aviation has told AFP that debris spotted on Tuesday during an aerial search for AirAsia flight QZ8501 is from the missing plane. He said it can be confirmed that it’s the AirAsia plane and the transport minister will depart soon to Pangkalan Bun.

Meanwhile, according to Xinhua News Agency, searchers confirmed that the emergency exit door and other objects found on Tuesday are parts of the AirAsia flight. Bambang Sulistyo, head of the National Search and Rescue Agency, said a body was also found near the scene. Earlier, Indonesian TV has showed footage of objects floating in the Java Sea.

Meanwhile, AirAsia authority have concluded plan to take relatives of the victims to the resumed crash site.
