Mark Zuckerberg launched Facebook from his Harvard dorm room but dropped out after his sophomore year to work full time on what has become the world’s largest social network, with more than 1 billion active users. In 2012 Facebook went public in 2012 making Zuckerberg one of the world’s youngest self-made billionaires at the age of 23. He is now estimated to be worth $38.6 billion. Time Magazine named him in their list of 100 of the wealthiest and most influential people in the world.
