Two Life Bans Weren’t Enough for Mohammed bin Hammam
Corruption has become synonymous with FIFA in recent years, as the international soccer federation has been involved in multiple fraud scandals. Two of the biggest scandals have been orchestrated by Mohammed bin Hammam, former president of the Asian Football Confederation, and Jack Warner, former vice president of FIFA.
Warner resigned from FIFA after bribing Caribbean members in an attempt to remove Sepp Blatter, and Hammam was banned for life– twice.
