Rio Ferdinand’s Tumultuous Love Life
England’s ace soccer player Rio Ferdinand has had a very rough life outside the field. While he is quantitative one of England’s best, it is his personal actions that have caused him great public scrutiny and controversy. He was in a long-term relationship with Rebecca Ellison, the mother of his children starting 2006 until her death in 2015.
A year after they wed in 2009, news of Ferdinand’s infidelity surfaced (with many women). He tried to prevent the story from going public but was unsuccessful. In the end, these make-or-break affairs weren’t enough to break them up.
