The heat of the moment
Corinna wasn’t quite sure what had come over her, but she knew that if she didn’t make an example of her boyfriend, something worse could happen. She needed him to realize that his actions were not appropriate, and she needed him to know how much he hurt her as well as their relationship.
So, she picked up the closest thing to her on the table – which ended up being a glass of water – and overturned it all over his head! Corinna observed that the event caused her heart rate to rise, but adrenaline was coursing through her veins, and she felt like she was getting retribution.
