McKenzie Astin played the role of Andy Moffett in The Facts of Life from 1985 to 1988. Little Andy was a fixture on the show for its entire run. Though he had a rocky start in life, moving between three foster homes in just five years, he made the best of his situation.
Andy’s character stumbled into Edna’s Edibles one day looking for a job. He was always trying to find ways to make money and impress the ladies. Andy had a crush on almost every girl in the cast, but Beverly Ann (Cloris Leachman’s character) became a mother figure to him throughout the show.
