For nearly a decade, from 1979-1988, the Facts of Life television show was globally enjoyed by audiences of all ages. This cast of mostly females told captivating stories about their journey from adolescence to womanhood. The young actors who blessed us with their talent on the show have certainly blossomed since then!
Lisa Whelchel – During the show
Lisa played the role of Blair Warner, a beautiful and rebellious rich teenager when she was only fourteen years old. When the show began in 1979, viewers saw Lisa’s character do whatever she pleased without worrying about the implications–true to most young adults.
However, in 1980, for the show’s second season and after many changes, a new character (Jo) took over Blair’s bad streak. After that shift, Blair came back as being represented as a spoiled rich girl who liked nothing more to do than shop.
