Original Name
The show was first going to be named Garrett’s Girls, which would have been fitting. But producers thought it gave too much of the plot away and decided on Facts of Life instead–which we all know and love today.
The name of the show seems more appropriate when considering everything the girls go through over the seasons. They learn harsh realities, funny moments, and everything in between. This coming-of-age series hits every relevant topic for its period while still adding a sense of humor.
