Compassionate adoption
After much discussion, the Svilicics decided that adopting a rescue dog would be the most compassionate option. Catherine began calling local rescues in search of her new furry friend. She eventually settled on a Doberman Pinscher – the largest dog in the group at the rescue.
After bringing Khan home and learning about his difficult past from the workers at the shelter, she immediately decided to give him a loving, forever home.
