There’s no doubt that the education system has a lot of downfalls, but this might be taking it too far. This picture is of a very simple recipe and a comment from one of the people who tried it out – but, as you can see, this person probably didn’t do so well in math class.
If you’re like me, you want to make scrumptious treats that aren’t loaded with sugar. However, this commentator didn’t hit the target. They used 1/3 of a cup instead of 1/4 – even though it looks like less sugar, numerically speaking, 1/3 is actually more than 1/4. So ultimately, they just used more sugar than necessary. It’s sweet how unaware they were.
