Female and Male Rooms Don’t Always Work Out
Although some hostels provide female-only rooms, the one this girl stayed in during her travels did not. Consequently, she had to share a room with several guys from Wales for a few nights. Perfection is often desired but seldom achieved–such as having an organized and serene environment while traveling. Though safety is paramount for many travelers, especially females, they also appreciate a hospitable hostel stay.
It turned out to be quite a negative experience. The boys would come back to the room at night, mostly intoxicated and loud, and she had to deal with their rude habits, such as them sleeping on the floor with no clothes on.
