The hotel guest who decided to use the phone receiver as some kind of ashtray for their nail clippings probably received quite an angry call from the reception.
It’s almost unimaginable that the last guest had clipped their nails, painted them, put the phone back on its receiver, and checked out of the room without a second thought about what they were leaving behind.
