Morgan Freeman’s list of iconic performances is long and impressive. He was part of films like Driving Miss Daisy (1989), Unforgiven (1992), The Shawshank Redemption (1994), Se7en (1995), and Christopher Nolan’s Dark Knight trilogy, among many others. These roles made him a household name for good reason.
After playing the most divine entity in Bruce Almighty (2003), he gained a younger audience and became almost synonymous with the celestial being portrayal in the film. He has also narrated documentaries and had a critically-acclaimed directing debut with 1993’s Bopha!.
