Robert Duvall, 91
“I love the smell of napalm in the morning. Smells like… victory” – Robert Duvall said this line in Apocalypse Now (1979), and it is still one of cinema’s best, most iconic lines. He has had a successful career spanning seven decades and has appeared in some movies that are now considered classics, such as The Godfather (1972) and Apocalypse Now (1979).
At 91 years old, Duvall shows no signs of slowing down. His performance in Tender Mercies (1983) won him his first Oscar, and it looks like he’s not stopping until he gets a second one.
Jack Nicholson, 85
Jack Nicholson is known nearly as much for his controversies in private life as he is for his prosperous film career. The skilled actor was already successful by the ’70s. Still, it wasn’t until 1975, when he had a role in One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest, that made him well-known worldwide, and then shortly after came even bigger films like The Shining (1980) and later on his remarkable portrayal of the Joker in Batman (1989).
Nicholas’s personal life has been a topic of discussion on many platforms, as he has reportedly dated several women throughout his lifetime.
