Do it again, and again, and again, and again…
Apart from the cast and crew, the VFX team deserves recognition for making these shows so fantastic. Those guys put their time in. You know how difficult it is to create a computer-generated dragon that looks natural? …Well, actually, we have no idea, but we’re sure it’s tough.
Thankfully, the effects team had a bit of practice with Game of Thrones. We say “a bit” because that’s an understatement- to film HOTD, they needed to take one dragon and multiply it by 50. Each dragon also needed unique features, movement styles, and personalities. Yeah, we think the VFX department goes through a lot of coffee.
